Product Version.................................. 7.0.112.56

It could be a bug.  This version is a special engineering release.

Try to upgrade to, say, 7.0.252.0 and see if this works.  If it does, then go straight to 8.3.X.

Install the latest goldeals star version which I believe is still in the 8.0 family.  I just installed it last week and it's fine.

I got the same error when trying to update a pair of Cisco AireOS 3504 in HA-SSO setup running SW version 8.5.140.0.

I wasn't able to upgrade to 8.10.130.0, 8.5.161.0 or 8.5.151.0 ... I got always the following error message:

Transfer Failure: Version mismatch - the image version is not for this model.

I noticed that the uptime was more than 600 days, so I just rebooted both controllers (GUI: Commands->Reboot->both), and then the problem was gone. I was able to load the newest 8.10.130.0 image without any trouble.

This worked for me!

worked for me too. Thanks. Reboot solves many things
