Is there a F/W version available for the 1242 that supports WPA2 Personal?

What is the firmware you are using now and it does not support wpa2?

You can try this command under the ssid config:

  authentication key-management wpa version 2

is this commadn available with your firmware? if yes then use it and that is wpa 2
