Team,
We are designing this network for a client and the AP selected were 1852. Since 1852 have 2 x 1G ports , we decided to do a LAG with the access switch. The access switch selected was SG 500X.
The deployment guide for 1852 says that we need to have a minimum 3650 at access for LAG to work. When asked the reason, they stated L4 load balancing . 1800/2800 requires L4 load balancing command src-dst-mixed-ip-port. This is not available on SG500X as this only supports L2/L3 load balancing.
Can some one please help validate this. What if client is looking for a L2 etherchannel , is it possible for a 1852 to have a L2 LAG with SG500X.
Please advise.
