Our admin purchased two ten packs of the 3702e access points but didn't purchase antennas for them. First, are the antennas required or can the APs be used without antennas for the time being? Secondly, if they can be used without, do you have to remove the plastic protectors off of the area where you would screw on an antenna? Thanks for your help

Yes the AP does require external antenna to operate.

Thank you! The reason I ask is because I configured it and connected to it with no issue. I didn't think I'd be able to connect it without the antennas.

Sure, if the distance is very close and the throughput would be terrible.
