Hi all
Does anyone know which outdoor AP's are compatible with the 5760 WLC
The searchable/available docs are contradicting or misleading
Thanks

What AP models are supported is directly dependent on what firmware version the 5760 is loaded with.
Click this link: Cisco Wireless Solutions Software Compatibility Matrix
This is THE document to answer your question. Pay close attention to Table 1 and Table 2. Table 1 lists all the APs against the first firmware support and final firmware support.
Compare the first and last firmware support against Table 2. 5760 runs on IOS XE. So you need to match your version to this column.
Does this make any sense?

Hi Leo thanks for your help

1550 is not supported model in 5760/3850 (Unified Access deployment model). 1530 series outdoor AP supported in local mode since IOS-XE 3.6 onwards (refer matrix provided by Leo). Refer below document as well.

Hi Rasika,
Thanks for your help also
The docs says the 1532 AP is supported but only in local mode
does this mean that Local MAC or Locally bridged data frames will not be possible and all data plane traffic will have to be switched by the WLC?
Thanks

Yes, local mode mean all traffic (Data + Control plane) terminating on 5760 WLC as CAPWAP tunnel.
