Cisco 9117 AP and Cisco 3705-X Catalyst Switches

Hello,

Are Cisco 9117 AP compatible with Cisco 3750-X switches. Both supports 802.at POE+ but main question is 9117 is Multigigabit Ethernet port, whereas 3750-X are normal Gigabit ports, will it cause any issue or work fine with limited capabilities?

It will work without any issues. If you expect traffic in the cell exceed 1Gbps mark (with all 802.11ax capable devices) that's the only limitation I can see.

There is something to note however, 9117 is not going to be WiFi alliance certified,so if you looking from compatibility perspective, WiFi alliance not going to test this AP model
