Cisco Mesh Access Point

Hello,

I have Cisco WLC 5508 and i have Cisco AIR-CAP1552EU-A-K9 Outdoor Wireless Mesh Access Point, Can i use this access point as normal access point for mobiles and laptops ?

Yes it will likely come as Mesh out of the box but you can convert it to local mode on the WLC. If in autonomous you may have to change its image to lightweight to join WLC or configure it as a standalone Auto AP for client access. Seeing as you have a 5508, lightweight local mode is obviously better :).
