Getting an error from NCS.

The following error is obvserved in NCS  CleanAir Sensor Status: 'Down' Error Code: 'CleanAir sensor is not  operational due to crash. Please reset AP to resolve problem.'

The WLC version is 7.0.220.0.

The AP IOS version is 12.4(23c)JA3 and mini IOS version is 7.0.112.74.

The NCS is version 1.0.1.4.

Reseting the AP fixes the issue for awhile, but it comes back.

I have been looking and I can't find anything related to this.

Regards,

Hunter

Can you try upgrading to 7.0.235.0?

IF the crash continues then I'd be looking at RMA-ing the 3500.

There are alot of AP's.   It is not just happening to 1 AP.

I will see if we can upgrade.  Is there anyn spific reason to upgrade?

Bug fixes.

I remembered when I started deploying 3500 last year and some would only have one radio operational.  I SSH into them and I see crashlogs.  A few reboots later and it'll be all good.

Anyway, until I upgraded the firmware to 7.0.230.0 I haven't seen anything like this again.

But it is fixed on 7.0.220.0. The crash you're seeing could be a new one.

was the AP on local or monitor mode, what activity was going on the crashed ap, can you post the AP crash file.
