CMX 10 configuration without Prime

I am tring to configure CMX 10 for asset location tracking. We don't have Cisco Prime. how can i achive it 

Virtual CMX Version : 10.3.1-35

5520 Wireless Lan Controller Version : 8.5.120.0

Prime: Not Exist

The CMX is not accepting the MAP in JPEG or PDF formats to upload map section. instead, we need to import from Prime

As per my understanding, Prime is an add-on to centrally manage and monitor the infrastructure. 

In configuration document, I can’t find the section to upload map without prime. Please guide on exact procedure to upload map and associated AP’s. 

Or should I have to use Prime in evaluation mode just to edit and export maps

This document assumes we have an existing  Prime.it explains how to export already configured map from Prime and importing it to CMX.

I am looking for a doc explain how to upload maps to CMX without Prime and configure CMX.

It takes 15 minutes to deploy the PI VM OVA in eval mode - just deploy the PI OVA, build your maps then export to CMX.
