CMX - "cmxctl config hyperlocation mixmode" command syntax ?

Im trying to setup mixmode on a single floor on a CMX 10.6.

But I just cant seem to grasp the syntax of that command.

No matter what I type, it just gives me an error.

The closest I got to having it work was :

"cmxctl config hyperlocation mixmode 762378174171447306" - where the number is the Location Floor ID from the "cmxctl config maps floors" command.

The above command returns : "Please provide atleast one option".

Hmmmmm .....

"cmxctl config hyperlocation mixmode 762378174171447306 enable" returns: "

Usage: cmxctl config [OPTIONS] COMMAND [ARGS]... Error: No such command "mixmode". ".

I feel lost....

Does anyone know the proper syntax ? Or am I using the wrong "FloorID" ?

/Thomas

Do you have zones for the floor you are trying to do where the Hyperlocation APs are all in zones?  All Cisco Hyperlocation APs must be within a contiguous area.

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/mse/10-5/cmx_config/b_cg_cmx105/the_cisco_cmx_detect_and_locate_service.html

The command you listed is correct:

cmxctl config hyperlocation mixmode Floor ID enable | disable }

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/mse/10-5/cmx_command/cmxcli105/cmxcli1051_chapter_010.html#wp1250328143

Keep in mind that after you apply the command You have to restart CMX services.

Also make sure you are logged in as Admin root user

To double check the FloorRefID is correct use the Rest API call:

 /api/config/v1/maps

Can use postman to run the REST API Call as a GET.

And find the FLoorRefID in the outputted data
