Configuring wireless Bridge on AIR-AP1572EAC-E-K9

I am configuring a wireless Bridge on the AP AIR-AP1572EAC-E-K9. When  I, set the role to non-root on Radio  and enables it,the status says that the software/Hardware is disabled and down and when I change it to Root and enables, the status is enabled and up. It only accepts the role of root bridge. What could be the problem? I have already configured as a root and wanted the other to be the non-root

What software version you run on your 1572 ?

Here is one of RootBridge/Non root bridge setup I have done with "c1570-k9w7-mx.153-3.JBB4" autonomous image using 1572.

non-root Non-root (bridge)
repeater Repeater access point
root Root access point or bridge
scanner Scanner access point
spectrum Spectrum Only access point
workgroup-bridge Workgroup Bridge

BR01(config-if)#station-role non-root ?
bridge Bridge non-root
wireless-clients Nonroot with Wireless clients

You have to select "non-root bridge" option, not just non-root
