Hi, Somebody knows if it is possible to convert an Autonomous AP 2602i to Lightweight just changing firmware as the first generation Aironet APs?

Yes you can convert it to lightweight. Just need the lightweight recovery image.

IIRC:

Telnet into the Access Point

ap# archive-sw /overwrite /reload tftp://server_ip/ap3g2-rcvk9w8-tar.152-4.JB5.tar

and just let it rip.

should reboot, join in to your WLC and get its configurations if DHCP is set up correctly.

Worked like a charm! Thank you! yes

*Edited* the command i had to use was slightly different "archive download-sw /overwrite /reload tftp://<IP address>/ap3g2-k9w8-tar.152-4.JB5.tar"
