Enabling LAG on WLC 5500

Hi;

I use Avaya switch on my network. When i enable LAG on my WLC smth start goes wrong. for exmp: normally there are 3 3502 ap join on my wlc but i enable lag 2 of APs can not join. And i can't ping mgmt interface but i can access http/ssh. when i disable lag everything goes back to normal. how can we configure WLC when connect the other brand switches. thnx for replies...

Hi,

I think your issue is with the switch and not with the WLC.

port channel and its load balancing algorithm is handled from the switch, not the WLC.

You need to check your interfaces on the switch and make sure they all belong to the same port channel. The recommended load-balancing algorithm with the WLC is src-dst-ip
