Dear Team ;

 

I am getting the below alerts

 

Channel changed due to 'Signal Strength and WiFi Interference', from '5' to '13' on interface '802.11b/g' of AP ,connected to Controller ' Interference Energy before
update was '-66' and after update is '-82'. Noise before update was '-80' and after update is '-82'. Interference before update was '-66' and after update is '-118'.


'802.11b/g/n' interface of AP ' associated to controller ' is down.
Reason: Radio reset due to (57) Due to the state change of channel to DOWN


Interference threshold violation reported  by '802.11b/g/n' interface of AP, connected to Controller

 

Channel changed due to 'Signal Strength and WiFi Interference', from '9' to '1' on interface '802.11b/g' of AP ', connected to Controller   Interference Energy before update was '-56' and after update is '-81'. Noise before update was '-80' and after update is '-82'. Interference before update was '-56' and after update is '-88'.

 

what's the meaning of this alarms ? and how to solve it

Looks like interference in the 2.4ghz band… maybe tweak your arm interval setting to 24 hours and go onsite to determine what the cause of the interference is and see if you can get rid of it. Other than that, you may still see this message when the ap detects interference and decided to change the channel. That is why you set your dcc to 24hours and anchor that to 00 or a good time where channel changes can happen with low impact.
