Hi Everyone,

I have a serious problem about 7925G connection via wireless with 1532 outdoor access point. We are using 802.11a for voice connection. While 7925 phones roams to outdoor access point, They cannot even see the SSID. After we checked configuration wireless LAN controller and 1532 model Access point, we  saw that, their channel rate is between 100 and 160. We cannot set it to lower value and 7925G model phones can not connect these access points.

What you suggest about this situation?

Depending on your regulatory domain you can use certain 802.11a channels outdoor. Do the access-point and the 7925 phone share the same regulatory domain?

See for more information this document about the 1530's supported channels and powers.

Hi,

Yes you 1st need to make sure the regulatory domain of both AP and IP-Phone

Mostly probably you access-point is activated / configured to any other regulatory domain instead of where it supposed to be.
