Fast way to replace Access Points in Cisco Prime 3.1 during lifecycle

Dear All,

it's no fun having to replace 500 Access Points manually in Cisco Prime. Does anyone know of an efficient way how this can be done fast and easy ?

Would APIC-EM be the right choice or the REST API ?

By replace do you mean on the map? I believe that can only be done manually unfortunately.

Hi Ric,

thanks for your comment. That´s a pity. Is it possible for the other Settings to be automatically merged from the old AP to the new (AP Group, Primary WLC and so forth) ?

Slow reply sorry. I don't think so without some sort of scripting assisting you using the API Read/Write functionality.
