HA-SKU License

Hi,

I have two WLC- AIR-CT2500-K9-8-2-170-0 , I need to do by  N+1 method, For this method, is HA-SKU license mandatory for this? 

                             WLC-1   Base  AP Count    Permanent    No expiry  25  Medium    in use

                             WLC-2    Base AP-Count    Evaluation      12 Weeks  75          EULA Not accepted

any additional license needed for an N+1 method?

Your standby or let’s say secondary needs to be am HA-Sku controller in order to do N+1 without having to purchase license. If your standby isn’t an HA-Sku, then you would need to buy license or have a minimum of 50 AP license.

If your unit is an HA-Sku then you just enable secondary unit.

Your primary needs to have license for the amount of aps you have. The standby either needs to be an HA-Sku or else you need to buys license for the amount of aps you have. Forget about the 50 as that is for SSO and the 2504 doesn’t support that.
