I bought a Dell Venue Pro with Windows Mobile 7. Unfortunately, this phone only works when the SSID is broadcasted. Since we started doing this, we have been having problems. The past week, I would always have to reboot the router.
Yesterday, we hid the SSID to see if that might fix the problem. If it does, I am in a world of hurt until Microsoft comes to its senses. (Off topic Rant: They claim that the SSID was never meant to be hidden, yet all their other OSs support a hidden SSID)
Is it possible to have a hidden and broadcasted SSID with the Wireless N Gigabyte Router with Security VPN (WRVS4400N)?
