Help Please: Finding information on the Cisco AIR-AP12THD-A-K9 Access Point

I have acquired a brand new AIR-AP12THD-A-K9 Aironet 1200 series access point. I can't seem to find any information on the Cisco website relating to this model. The research that I have done indicates that Cisco built this model for Home Depot. The unit I have does contain the 802.11a/g radios. What other Cisco model is this unit similar to (i.e. AIR-AP1232AG-A-K9, etc.)? I was able to telnet to the unit using the documentation I found on the Cisco website for the Aironet 1200 series AP. The unit is running IOS Software C1200-K9W7-M Version 12.3(2)XT1, boot loader C1200-BOOT-M Version 12.3(2)JA3, and system Image file c1200-k9w7-mx.123-2.XT1.

Can this AP be upgraded to the lastest system IOS software for the 1232 which is Cisco IOS Release 12.3(8)JED?

Just follow the release notes for the 1232 and you will be fine.... same AP.

So, is the current software on the unit an old version that is specific to Home Depot? I can't seem to find any information on the IOS software currently running on the unit. Would it be best to backup the old version of the IOS software using the copy command or

archive tar to a tFTP server first? If so, exactly what files or directory do I need to backup in order to revert back after loading the lastest IOS software/firmware.

You just need to backup the IOS image which is the very top one listed in your screen shot.  Again, the AP is the same as a 1232, soany of the images will work.
