help with converting AIR-AP1131AG-E-K9 into Standalone AP

Hi members I have a Brand new AP that was bought for a site which has a controller, however it was never installed. I was wondering can you downgrade this AP to make it work in stand alone mode as a normal AP?

I tried to get some support from Cisco but because it is old their is no support agreement or warranty with it.

Many thanks in advance.

Hi,

Air-Ap1131 going by model is a standalone AP and AIR-LAP is a lightweight model. By default this should have an autonomous image. If you check show version, you can see if it is running k9w7 or k9w8 image.

k9w7 is autonomous and k9w8 is lightweight.

If it is running a lightweight image, you can download autonomous software and convert it.
