You'll be better off putting this in the UC forum.

Hi,

I would be very interested to see if you have an answer for this, as I am setting up a lab with a WLC 5508 1142N AP & switch, I have CME setup on a 2811 router & a Ciso 7921G phone, the issue i have is with the 7921G not finding the CME. Any help will do.

Cheers

Sean

hi robertssean

i'm not apply my lab yet but i thank

first the phone was worked before? if yes what is the last thing happend

second

  1. CME or SRST version must be 4.1 4.2 4.3 and later minimum 12.4(15)t7
  2. be sure you can ping from CME to AP
  3. be sure voice vlan in the controller take default gateway is CME
  4. see in your phone setting what the phone have
  5. i think that the controller not support for this phone look at the phone datasheet

this what i thank will be the problem as what i said this will be my first lab like this

Hi Sean,

As long as you configure option 150 (TFTP server/CME IP ) under DHCP pool defined for phones, it should find your CME.

Please check whether that it correctly defined.

Hi Ahmed,

This should help you with CME side configuration.

http://mrncciew.com/2013/07/26/how-to-configure-cme/

For wrieless side, if you do not hava a WLC then you have to configure it as Autonomous mode & SSID to be created for wirless phone to join.Via DHCP you need to give option 150 (CME IP address) to phone to register.
