Is a license required to upgrade from LWAP to Autonumous

I have a customer who accedentally got a AIR-LAP-1141.  He needs it to be autonomous.  If I convert from LWAP to Autonumous, will there be a licensing issue?

Hi Scott,

We can reimage the LWAPP image to Autonomous.. to download the Autonomous image we need the contract.. if we have the same, then we can download and install  the same and the AP can be used as a Autonomous.. But here is the catch, just in case the AP hardware goes bad, We will be replacing the LAP not the AP.. we again need to convert the LWAPP to Autonomous!! Hope this answered ur question!!
