Latency issue on wireless - 5508 & 3802/3702 APs - code 8.5.131.0

Hello Gents,

i'm having issue with latency on wireless which is causing issues/complains about Voice apps (SfB, Slack).  Also performance on Mac devices is not perfect based on the feedback from end users.

Client connectivity seems to be fine in terms of SNR & RSSI however when doing a ping to the ssid gateway i'm getting fluctuation in latency - response time in general 3-4ms but after each 10 normal responses i'm getting fluctuation in range 300-1000ms for 4 replies and again it back to normal.

Most aps are in local mode with controller in the same city/building doing remote 802.1X authentication.

Attached client info, wlan info and show ap for my own test case. Any idea how to overcome it will be really appreciated.

Thank you in advance for help!

Disable Fast Lane and see if there is any improvement.

Making a test now with fastlane disabled for apple ssid and behaviour of apple devices on it.

In the meantime i made a test of 3 different OS system (Linux/W10/Mac) pinging the default gateway of ssid (all devices next to each other, connected to the same 5Ghz network). Result - Linux/W10 having similar replies from gateway with some spikes up to 10ms from time to time which is normal. On MAC issue was as described earlier... Trying to narrow the issue down further i found one app working in the background (not wireless related) that was a root of the problem - killing application and problem seems to be less critical however need to validate issue with other users in remote locations.

Still seeing some issue on apple ssid:

Can you create a new test SSID that is open auth. Don’t change anything on the wlan except for changing it to open. Test the same scenario on the 3802 and then on the 3702.
