Local switching in remote location (guest wlan, web-auth) - Anchor WLC

Hi,

See attached imaget to see how things are configured today. We also want to have local switching on Guest wlan in the remote location but have so far been unsuccessful. My knowledge regarding anchor controllers is limited, so I was wondering what configuring is needed to have local switching on guest wlan in the remote location. Appreciate any suggestions!

It sounds like you are doing flex but you didn't mention that. Assuming you are, you want to make sure the guest WLAN is anchored from the foreign controller (central) in your example to the anchor controller. And then anchor the DMZ guest WLAN to itself.

Here is a config example document

#On guest wlan you can either do local switching with one wlc or anchoring using DMZ controller.

#webauth is supported on local switching.

#With the above setup, convert the remote APs to flexconnect mode and enable local switching on wlan. keep the same webauth config on wlc.
