Max number of the mobility member in mobility group at WISM

Hi all,

I have a customer buys 12 x WISM and build up a mobility, when I add the final WLC to mobility, it prompts that there mobility group has reached the max of mobility member, but the total member is 23, according the configuration guide, it should be allow to 24 member, do I hit some bug? My using version is 7.0.98.0, thanks.

You should be able to have 24.. that is including the WLC itself on the list I believe.  If you do a show mobility summary from the CLI, does it only show 23?

Okay so that also verifies 23. Does this happen with all your WLC's by chance. I would just open a TAC case to see what they say.

Here is the finding of this case:

CSCtj97304    JMR1:Not able to add 24th mobiity membr when system mac is deleted/added

Symptom:

Not able to add the 24th member in the mobility group

Conditions:

When the entry with the system mac is deleted and added back.

Workaround:

Don't delete/add entry with the system mac

The fix has been integrated in 7.0.116.0 or later.
