Hi,
I am having a problem with the power supply to Cisco 1562 outdoor AP by power injector.
Before it was up and running with the same power injector. But when one day i found out the device was down then i realized the power injector cannot supply the power to the device.
Then as a simple troubleshooting below are the things i have done:
1) change of power injector - didnt help
2) Re-crimped the Ethernet Cable both sides - didnt help
3) Now instead of power injector when I connected the wireless device straight to the switch 2960 X series , the device works perfectly. It even joins the WLC 5520.
If anyone please can help me with my case then it will be highly appreciable.
Thank You.
Regards,
shrijan

Thanks for the info.
That is a known problem on the 1560 AP in combination with the power injector you have. CPN: 341-100456-01 or 341-100456-02
We (cisco) need to replace your AP, please open a SR with TAC and point them to BUG CSCvo09932. For now, the BUG is not visible but I will fix that.

Hi Luis,
Thank you for the information.
But my concern is the power injector i am dealing with works with other AP but not this particular AP device.
And as i mentioned when I put the Ethernet cable straight from the switch port (enabling Poe) to the AP, it works but not with the power injector (which is working with other AP).
Any ideas?
Thanks

One more thing, can you share a photo from the power injector. I am interested in the label?
