Papua New Guinea regulatory domain for 1142N?

Adrian Lee

Hello,

Can anyone help me to confirm which regulatory domain for Aironet 1142N does the country Papua New Guinea belongs to? I'm working on a project in Papua New Guinea and couldn't find this country listed in the Wireless LAN Compliance Status. I'm now assuming it falls under "N" domain, please help me to confirm so that I can place the order.

Many Thanks!!

You may want to see if you can contact the regulator for them, but as Papua New Guinea is in Indonesia, I would guess they were a -C regulator domain.

Definitely try to check with the local authorities though, to be sure.

Referring to below two documents, my bet goes to –N

I see your post is 5yrs old. Did you make it work with "-N" ?

>>> Refer this guide, page 31, Lists the countries that belong to each regulatory domain.

PNG falls under Americas region which also includes Australia/India etc, whereas, Indonesia falls under EMEA’s regulatory domain.
