Passive client feature with AP groups

Hello All,

I was reading the Cisco documentation regarding the "passive client" wlc feature and the following limitation is listed: "The passive client feature is not supported with the AP groups and FlexConnect centrally switched WLANs."

Do both of these condition need to be met? Does AP group membership alone qualify as a restriction?

Hi Mike,

Any one of the condition causes the passive client not to work. Yes, if passive clients are in placed in the user-defined AP group, then they will not work.
