Hello,

I've a question about AP switch port speed.

When you have a remote WLC and APs connected on a 100mbps switch ports on site.

If one Wifi client is connected on 5ghz with 80Mhz channel width and see +700 mbps in Data Rate details of his Wireless adapter, will it still be limited by the 100mbps switch port ?

Not sure what is the Mode of the AP ?

+700 mbps transfer rates ? - you will not get since AP connected to 100Mb port -your views are correct. you can not get more than 100MB.

that rate are between client and AP over wireless - not wire speed.

Yes.  The bottleneck will be the 100 Mbps port.
