Question about the Endpoint Type in NCS and ISE

Dear All

Good morning. We are testing NCS with ISE. We set up a local account on ISE with PEAP- MS-CHAP V2. And we monitor the client through NCS. However, the Endpoint Type of the client is always Unknown or Undetermined. Shall we suppose to see the Endpoint Type of the clients is "laptop, phone, iPhone, iPad, etc." ? If yes, what we could miss in the configuration of ISE or NCS? Please advise.

Thank you, and have a nice day.

Yours,

Linchuan

If the endpoint shows up as unkown, that means ISE was not able to profile that device.  You can move that device into a profile or create a new profile policy.
