Resetting 1142 LAP

Hi,

Can somebody provide a loink to the procedure to reset the AP to factory default as it is not registering with the controller .

what we have in L2 Mode, It is connecting to some other controller in l3 mode which is not part of our network.

The AP Model no is AIR-LAP1142N-A-K9.

Note You can restore the access point to its factory defaults by unplugging the power jack and plugging it back in while holding the Mode button down until the Ethernet LED turns amber (approximately 2 to 3 seconds).

Hello,

please note that 1140 AP will work only with (CAPWAP) 5.2 and later WLC's.

5.2 and later support capwap that work in L3 mode.

capwap does not support L2.
