Hi ,

We have 2 unit of WiSM2 deployed, one at Core switch1 and the other unit at Core switch2, these 2 units are belong to same management subnet for example 10.1.1.x 255.255.254.0

we are able to ping both units but only able to get into the GUI of the first unit, let's say 10.1.1.1 but not able to get into GUI for 10.1.1.2

we have checked the firewall and it's not blocking.

any idea on how to access the 2nd unit GUI or fix the issue?

Thanks.

A few things ..

1. If your second controller is in HA mode you wont be able to see it .

2. Were you trying to access the WLC over wireless? If managment over wireless is disbaled you wont be able to access it ..

try to log into the wlc from the wired

Hi George,

They are running Active - Active, we have already enable management via wireless.

It's the same result even if we try on wired.

No ACLs or anythign blocking it ? Did you try rebooting the box?

There have been issues in the past regarding this and also ssh/telnet. Varies depending on WLC model and version. If you don't have anything blocking like George mentioned, then either search the bug toolkit or open a TAC case. The fix for this was a reboot until a firmware fixed the particular issue.
