UPDATE WLC 5508 8.3.102 TO 8.5.110

Last night we update WLC 5508 image 8.3.102 to 8.5.110, It,s update successfully and 3702 and 2702 Series LWP Download the latest image and working Fine but 1602 Series WIFI is not able to pick the latested image and stuck.

Plz, find below log for better help.

That's because no one bothered to read the Release Notes.  The Release Notes for 8.5 will state that the firmware is split into two files.  The second file, called the AP Supplementary Bundle, contains AP support for 

Cisco AP802
Cisco AP803
Cisco Aironet 1530 Series AP
Cisco Aironet 1550 Series AP (with 128-MB memory)
Cisco Aironet 1570 Series APs
Cisco Aironet 1600 Series APs

The only solution is to load the AP Supplementary Bundle and reboot the AP.   

PS:  Please read the Release Notes.  Your job may depend on it.

Hi sorry for my bad english. i had same problem last nigth after upgrade to 8.5.131.0 I was breaking my head through a couple hours. Command "show ap bundle" output was correct, supplementary APs .aes image was succesful uploaded to controller. But APs had same problem "Refusing image download request from Unsupported AP - unable to open image file /bsn/ap//ap1g2"  

And i think problem was that controller boot with primary image but APs tried to download image from backup images. I understand that after trying rollback to previous release (8.3) - upload image to controller, reboot... And controller boot with 8.5.131.0 and all APs succesfully download image 8.5.131.0 from it. What i see in "Commands" -> "Config boot" menu? 8.3 is primary, 8.5 is backup, active.

Don't use 8.5.131.0.  Upgrade to 8.5.140.0 or else you'll get this with this:  FN - 70330 - Cisco IOS Access Point Stranded Due to Flash Corruption Issue.
