Failure while storing in flash

Darn it!  I knew I should've paid attention during Spanish classes.

Don't understand what you mean but the error message could mean that you upgraded the firmware without upgrading the bootstrap (ER files).

Hi leolaohoo

The problem is when y try to upgrade the wlc 2106 from 4.0.217 to 5.2.178 i need to use a intermediate version (4.2.176) and the controller shows the error "Failure while storing in flash", i tried to upgrade de boot version but the error is the same, the boot version are ( AIR-WLC2100-K9-4-1-185-0-ER.aes and AIR-WLC2100-K9-4-2-61-0-ER.aes) but didn't work.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Ok!!

This issues occurs very rarely.. we need to upgrade the device hop by hop ro get the isssue resolved.. Hop by Hop means.. since you are in 4.0.217, the next upgrade will be the latest software in 4.0 train. then upgrade to the least in 4.1 and then latest in 4.1 and then least in 4.2 and then latest in 4.2.. from 4.2 you can directly jump to any where..

lemme know if this was helpfull..

Hi

The problem is the same i tried with AIR-WLC2100-K9-4-0-219-0.aes that is the next version available, the wlc load 2 or 3 % of the image and shows the error.

The tftp32 shows this log.
