vWLC with FlexConnect and Web Authentication

Hello

I'm using a vWLC with a FlexConnect SSID and Web Authentication for the security.

I can connect to the SSID and get an IP address with all informations from local DHCP server. Unfortunately the automatic redirect to the Guest Web Page does not work. If I browse with the client to the address http://1.1.1.1 ,I get the Guest Web Page.

Do you have any idea, why the automatic redirection does not work.

vWLC version: 8.1.131.0

Are you making an http request to trigger the redirection (as opposed to https)?

I tried http://1.1.1.1 and https://1.1.1.1

Is DNS resolution working?  e,g. Can you do a:

nslookup www.google.com

If that works, what happens when you browse to:

http://www.google.com/
