vWLC WLAN creation profile issue

Hi,

I`m implementing a virtual wireless LAN controller and I`m getting problem to create WLAN profile. Follow the logs:

*spamReceiveTask: Jan 22 11:42:50.510: #LWAPP-3-WLAN_ERR2: spam_lrad.c:52448 The system is unable to find WLAN 1 to be deleted; AP XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX

*emWeb: Jan 22 11:42:50.501: #LOG-3-Q_IND: spam_lrad.c:52448 The system is unable to find WLAN 1 to be deleted; AP XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX[...It occurred 3 times.!]

Any idea?

Still I did not find anything wrong in config .

now you must delete and recreate the new WLAN.

I have just created this WLAN to test. Everything seems to be ok when I create the WLAN but I cannot see WLAN available. When I check the logs the same log appears.

I've consulted a friend and he had already basically the same problem. It was related to the license file applied on controller. So I have done another test after increasing the priority of default trial license and booting the controller, but I had the same problem.

For instance, I'm waiting for the partner to associate this controller to our support contract to open a case.

Hi,

I can only recomamnd that erase the whole config and start over. erased the configuration on the Cisco WLC with the “clear config” command, reboot and start over.

Then try again.

If still fails then u must raise a TAC case.

Hi man,

I missed click correct answer.

After the erase config Controller has crashed. I've tried to reboot and use the secondary image but same problem happend. Yesterday when I was installing controller it happend 3 times before I could gain access the controller. This was another thing that I could not to understand.

Do you have any idea?

HI ,

Can you paste the crash logs from WLC.

Make sure you have adequate hardware on your ESXi and your following the vWLC requirements.

I will recommand to have 7.4.110.0 version this version more stable then others.

did you enable the 802.11a and 802.11 b network.

go to

Wireless> 802.11 a >Network > 802.11 a  check the box for enable status.

Wireless> 802.11 b > Network> 802.11 b chekc the box for enable status.

or

wireless > ACess point > 802.11a / 802.11b ,click on small blue arrow on specifiy AP ,> configure > make sure admin status is enabled.

Hi man,

It was not enabled yet. But even after that it is not working.

I create WLAN and nothing happens. I don't know if it helps, but all APs are blinking slowly green led.
