Hi Experts,
Is the Cisco 1552e in LWAPP mode supposed to support wIPS? The option is greyed out on my 2504 WLC
Version 7.4.100.60

Issue the below command..
config ap mode flexconnect submode

Thanks, but no cigar.
Result pretty much as expected. I've raised (yet another!!) wireless TAC case.
(Cisco Controller) >config ap mode flexconnect submode ?
none No submode active for the Cisco AP.
pppoe-only WIPS submode for the Cisco AP.
pppoe-wips WIPS submode for the Cisco AP.
wips WIPS submode for the Cisco AP.
(Cisco Controller) >config ap mode flexconnect submode wips ?
(Cisco Controller) >config ap mode flexconnect submode wips SB-AP-01
Unable to set submode. This AP model does not support WIPS submode.

What a crock!
Here's the reply from Cisco.
Where's that number for Avaya?
The 1552E does not support WIPS. I have checked the behavior in the lab as well and also internal documents.
Unfortunately, there is no external document stating the same explicitly.

Priyanka

wIPS sub-mode is not supported on the 1530 or 1550 series access points.
