wireless performance is bad

 the wireless environment is very bad in my office ,

but the wired ping is pretty good.

my wireless channels are assigned by WLC5508. please help me with the issue. and AP is 3702I and 1142N

Things affecting the wireless comm.,

1. congestion >> since air is the shared media, frame retransmission also happens when transmission fails

2. Interference could also b a reason

3. Using broad bandwidth channels are prone to this

Please check for the number of clients , any overload situation ?

thanks , i found there were no more than 20 clients on one aps.

we have a 2504 WLC configured with 5 ssids. and a 5508 WLC configured with another 4 ssids.

is there any conflict between the two WLCs.

Hi,

get show ap auto-rf 802.11b or a <AP-NAME> and check whats near.

connect 1 client and see if that makes a difference.
