we have installed new WiSM2 in Cat6500 and both WiSM are in status "started keepalive".
DESTGSW001#sh wism status
Service Vlan : 192, Service IP Subnet : 192.168.250.65/255.255.255.248
WLAN
Slot Controller Service IP Management IP SW Version Controller Type Status
----+-----------+----------------+----------------+------------+------------------+---------------
1 1 192.168.250.67 0.0.0.0 WS-SVC-WISM-2-K9 Started KeepAlive
But everything else looks fine,
Access Points are joined, client are connected and HA redundancy is also working fine.
The WiSM service-ports gets the IP address from DHCP server
The WiSM2 has software
Manufacturer's Name.............................. Cisco Systems Inc.
Product Name..................................... Cisco Controller
Product Version.................................. 7.5.102.0
Bootloader Version............................... 1.0.16
Field Recovery Image Version..................... 7.0.112.21
Firmware Version................................. FPGA 1.7, Env 0.0, USB console 2.2
Build Type....................................... DATA + WPS
and Cat6500
Cisco IOS Software, s72033_rp Software (s72033_rp-IPSERVICESK9-M), Version 15.1(1)SY1, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc5)
Does have anyone any idea?
thanks
Martin

If your output is correct, your WiSM does NOT have any Management IP Address.

Hi,
the output is correct.
The management IP address will be visible when the status is "Oper-UP".

Check your cat6500 konfig.
Maybe something is wrong with this commands:
wism service-vlan xxx
wism switch 1 module 1 controller 1 allowed-vlan 10-1001,1006-4030,4040
wism switch 1 module 1 controller 1 native-vlan 4021
wism switch 1 module 1 controller 1 qos vlan-based

We have done a hardware reset of the WiSM2, and now the stsuts is "Oper-UP" again.
It looks like the very old bug CSCsg59144
