WLC 5508 formatted flash

Dear Support , 

After formatting the whole flash of a 5508 WLC , and even when we tried to upload new image via bootloader , the wlc restarted and the bootloader immage appear again.

is there a way to upload an images so the wlc can start normally or we dont have any other choice then opening a cisco TAC case , so the enginner can send us the RTOS file or RMA the WLC?

You need to open a TAC case and get the appropriate files and procedures.

Is there a chance to get these files and upload new image without opening a TAC case , since we do not have smartnet support on the device.

Only TAC has the proceedure to recover from GRUB.

You will need to open a cisco TAC case to RMA the WLC.
