Upgrading code on an HA pair that I have done many times I ended up in maintenance mode. As you can see from the attached file, it the new image was not transferred to the secondary. I can get to the secondary via the redundancy management IP given communication is down on the RP port. My question is can I just upgrade the secondary to the new image directly set the boot-loader to load the new image and reboot without affecting the in production primary. Thanks in advance.
You should remove the connection and then use the service port to get in. Then you can tftp/ftp the image and upgrade. Then you can reboot and connect everything back. The wlc will boot up and the sync.
