WLC just for authentication

Hi folks!

We have two different locations:

Location A: ISP 111.111.111.111 with cisco WLC infrastructure and a normal LAN/WLAN network xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Location B: ISP 222.222.222.222 with a office extended access point (CAP2702)

The office extended access point on location B can easily connect to the WLC and LAN xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx from location A.

If you are in location B and connect with the office extended access point - is there a possibility to do ONLY authentication on the WLC which is located in location A but then after successful authentication use the ISP and LAN on location B? WLC just used for authentication.

Hi,

Instead of using the OEAP why don't you use the flexconnect solution it gives you more flexibility in your design and control of the network.
