I have two 6000P cameras and VSM 7.2.1.
The cameras install fine, stream and record fine, then a couple weeks later they drop offline. Reseting the camera by replacing config or disable/enable produces an "invalid authentication" error. The username and password have not been changed, and I cannot get into the camera via the web browser either (request times out).
Strangly, if I go to the camera and power cycle it in the field then enable it, everything comes up fine.
We are on camera firmware 1.4.x. This has occurred twice now and each time power cycling the camera fixes the problem. We also have 6400's here and they do not have the same problem.
Anyone seen this and have identified the problem? I would consider it a bad camera, but it is happening on both 6000P's here, and it happens at the same time.
