Hi,

Please guide that when configuring NAT on the Cisco ASA, do 'Original Destination IP' & 'Translated IP' should be routed through same interface?

Or is it possible that 'Original Destination IP' belongs to "dmz" interface and 'Translated IP' routed through "inside" interface.

ASAASA

Thanks,

Hi

If what you call "Original Destination IP" is part of the same flow as "'Translated IP', then the answer is no. If packet dont follow the design flow, NAT will not take place for start.
