Badge Designer Photos pixelated and blurry

Unless I use an existing template all the photos for ID's are pixelated. It doesn't matter if it's low or high res?

I even altered a template and after adding all my own additional designs, photos became pixelated?

Does anyone know what this glitch is? Any link on how to create a custom badge. I have 800 to create,so this is a problem.

In my experience this is usually caused by the picture being too large. try reducing the picture to 80x60 pixels or so.
