Are you trying to use this workstation in basic 32bit mode, or 64bit mode?

"

32-bit or 64-bit
•The IE 32-bit version can display a maximum of 4 video panes (for example, in a 2x2 layout).
•The IE 64-bit version can display a maximum of 16 video panes (for example, in a 4x4 layout). The 64-bit version of Internet Explorer requires that the workstation run in “Protected Mode”.

Laptop is 64 bit.  Only the 32 bit client is loading.......64bit client isn't loading.

I have tried using both 32 & 64 bit IE

At this time I am not worried about how many panes will open.

Most of my clients are using 32 bit.  But I have several that are running 64bit.

I have updated the video driver on the laptop.

HI JD. It sounds like you cannot load the video drivers from VSOM. I have had several PCs with this issue and it is most likely due to your PC policies not allowing the program to run. You can try to download it from VSOM directly on the operation tab. It is the "MSI Installation Package."

https://<VSOM IP>/client/msi_setup.msi

Let me know if you get a "viper error" when you try it.

Good luck!

Have you otherwise reviewed the workstation baseline specification document?  Is this happening on *all* workstations, or only a few?  Is this a net new installation, or an upgrade from a previous VSM platform?

Also, you mentioned "Most of my clients are using 32 bit.  But I have several that are running 64bit."  Is the behaviour the same regardless of what client is being used?
