Checking for VSOM... down.

Only VSOM Service is down and not able to start. Can anyone help in this.

VSOM version is 7.7.0

Have you checked any of the log files within /usr/BWhttpd/logs ?  In particular the mysql.log file?

Also,

1) What platform are you running?  CIVS-MSP? CPS-MSP?  Virtual?

2) Have you recently experienced a power failure?

Ans. No there is no power failure But there is some corruption occurred on one media partion.

Hmm... well, I don't see anything immediately wrong in that log file.  It seems as though mysqld is coming up.  

What else changed on the server?  You mentioned *corruption* on one of the media partitions?  Was there a RAID failure or rebuild event?  Was fsck or mount complaining about this?  How did you become aware of it?
