Cisco 4500 and 2500 cameras and time issues

I have 35 cameras all in the same location...7 are 4500 series and the rest are 2600 series.  They are all pointing to their own media server as an NTP server.  The time reflected in the timestamp on the 2600's is correct while the time showing in the timestamp on the 4500's is wrong. 

Is there a limit on the number of devices that can use a single source for the time?  Could there be a bottleneck at the timing device that would stop some cameras from being able to access the time when they are "asking" for it?  Where would the time come from for these cameras??

Is anyone else having a problem like this?

Any assistance you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

Are you referring to the OSD for the current camera time?  Have you confirmed the proper timezone (and if applicable, daylight savings time) settings on the 4500s ?

Scott, I am referring to the OSD for the current camera time.  On our system it is displayed in a black banner along with the date.  The timezone, etc is setup correctly, however the HD cameras aren't displaying the correct time.

What version of firmware are the cameras running at?  Also, what timezone are you in?

Scott, I am in the Central Time Zone.  Most of the cameras are running 1.1.0.  I updated the firmware in one to see if that would remedy this problem.

Since I posted this discussion, I've noticed that the cameras are actually frozen.  It's not that they are showing the incorrect time, it's that they are showing the same time without ever updating it.  I think the problem is more complex than just the time being wrong.  The live view itself is not displaying properly and the time being wrong is just a symptom of a much larger problem.

Are you attempting to view the feed from the native camera GUI, or via VSOM?  In either case, what are the specifications of the workstation you are using?

Scott, The specs of the workstation are within range...Windows XP SP3 and IE 8.  Both views are affected in exactly the same way.

Okay.  I've had a couple 4500s at 1.1.0 that behaved in a similar fashion.  I actually had one that would lock up, and then reboot, and loop in such a fashion. 

See if you can get one or more of them up to FW 2.4.1-275 and see if they still lock up?
