we don't have release notes for 7.6 hotfix but BU has posted a Read me file for the same. you could find it on cisco.com, find the attached snap shot to access the read me file.

Yeah, I'm also not a fan of surprise HotFixes without any explanation or detail.

I'm personally wondering if it's addressed the bug with xvcrman benignly crashing on occasion.

I agree with Scott's comment. There's no way I would install a hotfix without knowing it's intended purpose.

I'm happy to see this fixes the core dump issue. I'll be installing it soon.
