Hi.
I have an interesting situation with all of my 4500e cams. They used to work pretty well during the VSOM 6.3 time, but since we have 7.5.1, they begin to drop the stream and are very slow in response, when you try to access them via web.
After a reboot of the cam everything works fine for a while.
Since all other cams from other series are working good in the same subnet, I cannot imagine a network issue at first sight. Different settings like bitrates do not help. Firmware is a latest level (3.2).
Anybody had a similar issue?
Regards
Danny

I recently just lit a 4500E on that FW at a VSM 7.5.1 site. After being away a few days, I came back to check on it and noticed that a SASD wall setup which displayed *only* a single 4CIF feed from this one camera on a relatively small overall setup was indicating 'Excessive Frame Delay'.
We had other work to do at the site and this SASD workstation (and camera, actually) ended up being rebooted in the process, so I hadn't the opportunity to fully investigate what may have happened. I'll keep an eye out now that you've mentioned it and I'll probe their native Web UI if I happen to come across it again.
Cheers!

After upgrading to VSOM 7.6, it is almost daily we have to reboot one of these cameras. The camera will be pingable but it is not sending video to VSOM and we cannot access the admin webpage. After a shut/no shut of the switch port the camera reboots and everything is back to good. I am running firmware 3.2.4-223

Kyle.
I have opened a TAC case. But nothing we can say right now, since I have to deliver a trace. Currently, nothing new. Since I have to wait until the cams become slow. I will see the physec BU in May and will address this in case we have no results till then.
Cheers
Danny
